Jacquemain’s perpetual calendar was designed to record special occations and to honor the numerous wild birds that inhabit Santa Barbara County and the Santa Ynez Valley areas through her mosaic and woodblock print artwork. This area is constantly on top in the number of different species of birds which are confirmed each year during the annual bird count by the Audubon Society.
